IoT enabled solution for monitoring water condition in the shrimp farm.

Jala is an IoT device for monitoring water condition in the shrimp farm. The device can be submerged in the pond and is equipped with multiple sensors for monitoring parameters like dissolved oxygen, temperature, humidity, pH, salinity, and TDS (total dissolved solids). It collects the above-mentioned data and sends the same, in real-time, to the cloud. The company additionally provides a web-based portal wherein the collected data is processed and uses decision-making algorithms to produce actionable insights for the farmers. Also provides a companion application enabling the farmers to access data in case there is no internet connectivity.  

JALA offers one stop digital solution for farmer, leveraging their farming practices to ensure profitability and sustainability. We combine IoT water monitoring and data-analytics system to achieve precision farming.

JALA is transforming the shrimp industry by offering a vastly improved management system. With data-driven farming in mind, our goal is to get farmers to make decisions based on actual data.

For that reason, our system provides water quality monitoring, and planning & reporting tools, complete with a decision support system so farmers can initiate the right treatment at the right time, based on data which has been collected and analyzed. All the data from every farm using the system is automatically sent in for collation and review in order to gain valuable insight into the industry as a whole.

This data can be broken down into farm performance, production levels, and disease patterns across region, species and/or manager. Through the power of data JALA will make sustainable and profitable shrimp farming common practice.
