he music program has aesthetic, creative, cultural, and academic values that complete and further the educational and social values of a quality education. The PPIIA is responsible for helping all students understand and enjoy music. Every students should have the opportunity to develop their potentiality for musical expression through exploration, experimentation, exposure, and enrichment.
Department of Art & Design
Department of Art and Design is committed to educating students who seek a strong and challenging studio experience within an intimate learning environment. We also believe that providing educational opportunities beyond the classroom is both a relevant and rewarding experience for our students. With this goal in mind, we require all of our students to complete an off-site praticum as one of their requirements towards graduation.
Department of Childhood Edu.
DCE offers students the opportunity to pursue both an Associate of Arts (AA) Degree in Childhood Education (Teacher Preparation) as well as a certificate level. A two-year (A.A) degree is meant to prepare students to pursue higher degrees in their effort to become fully certified educators. The degree and certificate are designed to make graduates job-ready for their future careers in the childhood education field. The curriculum for (A.A) degree includes courses equivalent to the first two years of a bachelor’s degree (B.A). The bachelor’s degree (B.A) takes four years to complete.
