Photography School Asia was established in 2005, it quickly became regarded as Thailand’s premier photography school. Students have traveled from all over the world for a chance to study at the school and with its founder Jonathan Taylor. The school is committed to teaching essential photographic skills while showing the students the best of Southeast Asia. Students will be instructed on how to develop their own photographic eye and compositional awareness.

Our school comes equipped with a full professional photography studio and digital darkroom. There is a wide range of photography courses available from basic to advance levels. We teach Understanding Digital Workflow, Mastering Photoshop, Lightroom, Aperture and other Post Production Programs. Composition classes are available again at an introduction level up to very advanced. Photojournalism, Feature Photography, and Portrait Workshops are very popular as are the Studio Photography Courses. We teach each student in an easy going relaxed style, each course is created to target student’s individual needs.

PHOTOGRAPHY WALKS
Our Bangkok Photography Walks offer an amazing opportunity to see the normally hidden Bangkok while improving your photography dramatically. We welcome photographers of all levels, from novice up to professional, we are confident we can teach you how to create better pictures.

You will see parts of Bangkok’s vibrant lifestyle and culture little noticed by most tourist or visitors, experience the true Bangkok and learn photography too. These are private walking tours for individuals or small groups of friends.

Each tour begins with instruction on how to get the best from your camera saving you from disappointment and frustration. Then enjoy the photography walk, this will normally last around three and a half to four hours but you can go at your own pace.

There are two walk routes available at present, either the vibrant backstreets of China Town or the quieter side of the city over the Chao Praya River to Thai communities Thonburi, then on to the Famous Pak Khlong Talat Fresh Fruit and Flower Market.

We know all the most fabulous locations for great photography. You will experience so much more of the city and its people than you ever could alone or on a mixed group tour. Here is a link to a blog from Bob Cullen a Portrait Photographer who really enjoyed on of Timon’s Walks recently- Dispatch From Street Food City.

Duration: 4 hours, 3 hour photography walk plus one hour lesson and critique at the school.
Tuition Fee: US$280 per walk.
Each additional person you book joins for just an extra $150 USD per walk.
