Course Description
Music Production is a course that comprises of all important aspects of today’s music production in a constructive manner. The course focuses on the roles and skills required to be a music producer with both technical and creative approach. Students will be learning the basic understanding of music and sounds, application of Logic Pro X, producing beats and bass, live performances, mixing and mastering as well as unique sound making and remix using various synthesizers and effects. This course is available for anyone regardless of their level of knowledge in music or sound, and explains the detailed process of music production step-by-step. All prospective students are welcome, from complete beginners to experienced musicians who wish to sharpen their skills and broaden the field.
Music Production course includes 60 hours of lecture, and is followed by the group treatment with the assistant and unlimited personal lab time at workstations.
Week 1-2
Subject : Basic Sound & Record Production Techniques
Students will learn : Basic Sound & Record Production / Logic Pro X Production Techniques / Vocal & Inst Recording Techniques / EQ & Compression / Various Audio Effects including Overdrive, Distortion, Delay, Reverb, Modulation, Time Stretching, Pitch Shifting
Week 3-4
Subject : Advanced Sound & Record Production Techniques
Students will learn : Beat Making and Sampling through Logic Pro X / Fundamentals of Synthesizer / Advanced MIDI Effects / Sound Texture Making using Saturation, Lo-Fi Processing, Re-Amping
Week 5-6
Subject : Advanced Recording & Mixing Techniques
Students will learn : Advanced Recording Techniques in Studio / Track Editing & Tuning for Mixing / Advanced Mixing Techniques including Parallel Processing, Bus Compression, Summing & Group Mix
