SDA Language School

SDA Language School, Hwigyeong-dong, Seoul, South Korea

Samyook SDA Language School, also known as SDA Education, operates under the supervision of the Korean Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Seoul, Korea, part of the Northern Asia-Pacific Division. The SDA Language School is well known as one of the leading language institutes in Korea. We have gained the respect of the people in Korea because of the dedication, honesty and outstanding qualifications of our mission-minded native English speaking teachers who carry out our systematic class procedures and implement effective methods of teaching.

Today, we have 12 branches throughout Korea. We have about 50 native English speaking teachers, who not only teach English, but also enjoy sharing the gospel of Jesus with their students while exchanging and experiencing eastern cultures.

Our program is targeted towards a broad range of students ranging from Pre-Kindergarten/Elementary students to senior citizens. The English level being taught varies from “Beginner’s” English to “Advanced’ English.

– Each teacher will be teaching up to 240 hours per Teaching term (two months), 6-7 hours a day.  There are a total of 6 Teaching Terms in a year and we start a term in January, March, May, July, September, and November.

– Classes taught are generally from Monday to Thursday. (There have been a few schools that offer Friday special classes).

– Textbooks and lesson materials are provided by SDALS and are based on a predetermined schedule.

– There are 32 teaching days in one Teaching term.
