What you’ll learn

This training is designed for Ashtanga Vinyasa ‘Mysore Style’ practitioners with a consistent Mysore practice (not led practice) of at least 6 months who are ready to deepen their practice and step into the role of the teacher.

If you complete the course, you will receive a certificate of completion from the Ashtanga Yoga Bali Research Center.

The Curriculum

-Daily Practice

During this training, you will learn the fundamental principles of the Ashtanga Yoga Mysore style while immersing yourself in daily practice.

Concepts we review are Breath, Bandha, Dristi, Energetic Alignment and Adjustments.


Supplementary classes will cover philosophy, pranayama, meditation, and mantra work. These classes will be geared towards using these techniques in a daily, practical way.

-Ayurvedic Lifestyle Education

Together, we will explore personal lifestyle practices and Ayurvedic principles.

You will learn how to use diet, nutrition, cooking, cleansing, and other lifestyle practices to support your yoga practice. There will be a cooking session with Radha on how to prepare and cook using Ayurvedic principles.

-Teaching Education

We will focus on the practical use of the foundational principles and experience these methods, rather than memorizing text and information.

You will learn how to communicate information for adjusting and teaching purposes. Prem and Radha will provide you with coaching and feedback.
